Brenna Barney - Bennington Public SchoolsHi! I am Brenna Barney. I have been a Library Media Specialist for 12 years. I am currently working as a Library Media Specialist at Anchor Pointe Elementary in Bennington, NE. I serve PreK through 5th graders in the building. I enjoy getting to collaborate with my classroom teachers. I love to learn new things and am always excited and eager to share. I am a lifelong learner. I would love the opportunity to serve on the NSLA Board to continue learning as much as I can and inspire and help other librarians reach their full potential.

Jennifer is in her fourth year as a librarian at Omaha Central High School. After sixteen years as a high school English teacher, two years as a college composition instructor, and one year as an ELL teacher, she has discovered the library as a true calling. She is passionate about teaching, reading, talking about books, and advocating for and serving others. She has a recent endorsement in Instructional Technology Leadership, never tires of learning new skills, and loves to experiment with ideas. She lives with her husband James, a high school history teacher; her daughter Josephine, a fourth grader; and a cat named Noodle.

Dana Fontaine - Fremont Public SchoolsMy name is Dana Fontaine. I "library" at Fremont High School. It is my home away from home. I live in Omaha, NE with my husband, Mike, and my 7 month old daughter Luna. Yes, we named her after our favorite character in Harry Potter. We also have five pets: three cats and two dogs. I am interested in serving on the NSLA board because I'm interested in being a change agent. I'm interested in advocating for libraries and promoting the best, most important, job in the world. I am most passionate about information, technology, and intellectual freedom. I am also interested in serving on the board because I believe that libraries are a place where people can really be free to explore and free to be themselves.

Beth is seeking reelection for this position. She has served as the NSLA Treasurer since 2020.
Beth has taught for Omaha Public Schools for the past 10 years, both as a high school and elementary school librarian. She is now one of two librarians at Omaha Central High School. She also served during the last decade as an instructor at UNO, teaching courses in both the School Library and the Instructional Technology Leadership programs. In her free time, you can catch her reading, traveling, running, and hiking with her husband Scott, and their dog pack of three --- Belka, Luna & Franklin. Sometimes she even gets to see her two college-aged sons, one a Husker and the other a Mav! |

Jeralynn has previously served NSLA as a Board Member at Large (2021-2023). She is hoping to continue her support of Nebraska librarians as our President-Elect.
Jeralynn is the PK-12 Librarian for Litchfield Public Schools. SHe is also the technology coordinator, Title I Interventionist, MTSS Leadership Team Member, and Speech Coach. Her family loves the Litchfield community - her husband, Brian is the PK-12 Principal, and she has daughters in first and third grade. In her free time you can catch her reading, cooking, baking, and gardening. She also dabbles with hand lettering and cross stitch. She has two cats named Typhoid and Diphtheria. She hopes to one day get a pet penguin. |
